This photograph is taken in exactly the same place as the other photograph of this pub on the site but on closer inspection there are subtle differences to the windows.I don't know which one is the earlier. Taken at the turn of the 20th century. On the left is part of the shop of EVANS and McCLURE General Drapers and Costumiers

in 1901 this pub was The Ship and the Royal with James McClure there on both censers
