If my memory serves me right this pub was more or less opposite Wellington Street. How well kept it looks with the lacy curtains.

Walked past there many times going to Scholes Pictures AH. We went 3 or 4 times a week as we didn't have a telly then.

My Dad was born in The Kings Arms 1913, I wonder if the room was one of the windows shown if the photograph . The last Lanlord and Landlady of the pub were Frank and Kitty Charnock ,thier son Frank entertained customers playing the piano which he did with great aplomb .
