Ron. Wasn't this workhouse situated in Frog Lane, or am I mistaken?.

Wasn't this demolished in the very late 60s or very early 70s? What was it after the workhouse?

my 3xgreat grand dad, at 69 yrs remarried a widow almost half his age and had 2 children in the mid- late 1870s. He died in 1880 and the 1881 census shows his wife and two daughters in the Union work house. His widow dies herself in 1885 as shown in the cemetery records, and I can find one of the girls working as a servant in a 1891 census. I'd love to confirm if she was placed in this job by the workhouse and as for the other sister I don't know what happened to her.
