The Guy Arab was the predominant Lancashire United double decker with a total of 336 purchased in 25 years from 1942-1967, with the majority bodied by Northern Counties. There were also a small numbers of Leylands and Daimlers, plus a handful of Dennises and Fodens. The 336 Guy Arabs were: FTC204-210 751-758, FTD184-187 189-190, 580-590, FTE31-40 329-340, FTJ936-939, KTB106-115, KTE621-630, MTB51-62, MTJ91-100, NTF431-440, OTE72, RTC691-700, TTE141-150, WTB41-50, 311-319ATC, then longer 30ft 320ATC, 871-886DTB, 347-360FTF, 113-122JTD, 141-148NTF, 531-540RTB, 565-566VTJ, 501-520VTB, 567-583TD, 6204-6219TF. The last 72 were front entrance: 6220TF, HTJ521-525B, JTD299-300B, KTC791-795C, RTC351-360C, WTE141-163D, ETJ901-926F.
Is that date correct? I went to St Nathaniels I moved Into the new school in 1971. Pretty sure the old school was demolished soon after.
