I had left Ince in 1971 so don't recall this, but I remember O'Neill's Electrical Shop.

Reminds me of the May Queen we used to have when I lived in Whelley. I always dressed as a pirate, complete with a wooden scimitar my dad made. We then had a party set up on trestles in the backs between Ellis Street and Thompson Street.
