WELLFIELD SUNDAY REGULARS 1960's with names

It's taken a while but I think I have all the names of these Wellfield Hotel regulars in the early 1960's who had emerged from the pub on Sunday afternoon after closing, since pubs closed around 2.30pm and opened again around 7pm on Sundays. During the week the hours were longer but there was still morning opening (about 11 am till 3pm) and evening opening (5.30pm till 10.30pm), these times are approximate since I can't remember exactly, and changed as the years went on.

A slight amendment Keith - Gerry Kennan, rather than Kenyon?

That's a lovely photo. I think pubs used to close at 11pm in those days, and 10.30pm on Sundays. In The Long-Neck Pub, (Anderton Arms), in Ince, they used to "blink" the lights to signal "chucking-out time".

Apologies to all, I knew it was Dennis Clarke as evidenced in my other photo and yet I still put in the wrong name - what can I say, there's no fooling old age. I always thought though that it was Gerry Kenyon but I bow to superior knowledge (and memory) and have to admit my mind's not what it was - Gerry Kennan it is.

Lights on and off meant " Last Orders. ". There then followed ten minute " drinking-up " time.

Thankyou, John. I wasn't sure.
