Frank. Was this Inn somewhere near to the location of the N.C.B. training centre for future underground miners'. I believe it was also the location where the remuneration compensation was paid to miners, incapacitated by working in the mining industry. I was at this T.C. in the spring of 1950, but I cannot remember the Low Hall Inn, no doubt it was there then.

The building was converted into 4 flats in the late 1960s. My girlfriend had the one on the ground floor RH side.

Albert, I honestly don't know anything beyond the location information that I put on the caption.
If you click in the search box for Low Hall Inn or NCB training centre there is a little bit more information to be gleaned.

I did as you suggested Frank. Reading between the lines, it would seem that Low Hall continued into the fifties as a N.C.B. training centre, then moved to Bold Colliery. Thank you for your advice.

Hi It was situated on the right hand side of Liverpool Rd. Platt Bridge about 200 yards before you reach Moss Lane when traveling from hindley to Platt Bridge.
