Didn't last long,maybe Wiganer's did not like Uncle Joe's as much as they thought another sad closure!
too much of a 'yuppie' look to it and not enough toffees sticking together in old-fashioned jars ! you could never make enough money these days to even pay the rates let alone rent and make a profit !!!
and look at the siz of that sign ... if ever there's an example of Wigan council planners letting horendous signage slip through their planning fu'ingers this is it - it covers almost HALF the shop frontage for goodness sake.
P.S. bring back uncle joe's with no wrappers !
... they'd have been better playing this through speakers outside the shop !
