I think it was business as usual at the pub all this period. Almonds secured the frontage as best as possible. Still a talking point for the mechanics from Turners Garage.10 days later the car was towed to Preston for the repairs to be done.(Insurers)
Cannot remember what happened to the building after we vacated it......even though I lived in Standish until 1965.The next photo of this series was taken just a month ago (if published.)

Winston Blamire from Longton( Preston) was the owner and it went back to his yard at Longton
