This is the first page in Mr Southam's 1948 book Southam's Book On Chrysanthemums for Exhibition. He was extremely successful and it would be no surprise at all if he had bagged a share of the spoils at this particular Show as well.

I went a couple of times with my Dad in the middle 40s,I remember seeing quite a lot of certificates in the greenhouse.
My husband Ken, sister in law Margaret, and their cousin Janet,are grandchildren of Hl Southam.
