I have answered my own question, Hindley Hall is still standing...Praise Be !

We always called the lake the Ressy/reservoir. The island in the middle was a haven for the ducks and geese, we would swim across for duck eggs. Great Photos, thanks for sharing them,lots of fond memories of the hall and surroundings & golf course.

I think it's been said on here before,but Hindley Hall is actually over the Hindley boundary and is in Aspull.

Is not the Hindley golf club stand where the HALL is i always it was HINDLEY HALL!!
