The first 'play area' I can recollect as a kid was just down the hill to the left of the photo - slides/swings/bobbin horse & a drinking water fountain which was the best laugh as the stop tap was on the banking and you could quickly turn it on and off as thirsty kids tried to get a drink - Happy Days
