THIS is the same as previous photo it's WIGAN Rd, HINDLEY later quite later on houses built up there became TRAFFORD ROAD .GOOD photo's thought .

Trolley Buses didn't run on Wigan Road Hindley.
Clearly, you can see overhead elctrical cables on here.

Trolley buses did run on Wigan Road,from Hindley to Ince. I remember my mum telling me that my Great-Grandad used to get them.

I think English Electric quite correctly sorted out the confusion between trams and trolley buses with his comments on the previous same photo.Trollrey buses did not run on Wigan Rd in Hindley but trams did.

Looks like bottom of Liverpool rd Hindley . Trolley buses went from Hindley south station to Atherton.
