My mother Gladys Bennett (in the pram) with her sister Kathleen and brother Jimmy. Taken outside the front door of the BLACK BULL pub c.1917. Went to the pub last week and it still has this original door.

My dad was brought up just up the road from the Black Bull. I used to wait outside for mum and dad when they were visiting my grandma. I will have to make the effort to go inside one day while it is still there.

vb As far as I know they are not related to me, but no doubt if you go back far enough you will find a connection
