My Mother and Father were married in this church 1934, mothers family lived just a little walk from here so the church has featured in many ways throughout the lives of our family, thanks for posting Ozy.

Born and raised within 50 yards of this church

Fact or myth? As a kid to the left of the church entrance there was for many years a massive stone and we were told during the construction of the church a worker fell and was killed by the falling stone. As a tribute to him it was left in place where it landed – anyone else remember this?

This church has a special place in my family's history, going back to circa 1860's. Quite a few lived on and around Belvoir Street in the 19th.Century.

The interior is stunning, they still have the majority of the box pews, gallery and organ, though that is no longer used/working. Well worth a visit, but like most inner city churches these days it is often locked.. I was fortunate that the vicar was preparing for a children's event when I visited in summer 2015.
