Power station closures leave Britain facing Electricity supply crisis by 2025. This will be something like the Railways in the 1960s, why did we have to axe most of our branch lines, only to regret it. Remember their's no turning back once their gone.

They used to belch a hell of a lot of rubbish out of those chimneys. In the 50s, I lived within half a mile of them.

Yes they did Albert, but it was only coal smoke..look how many steam engines and factories had coal fired power, thousands and thousands of them. Nowt wrong with them in my opinion.
