What a lovely photo..did'nt it look very elegant,I would love to have seen the houses that are now offices there,my imagination runs riot whenever I pass those buildings..thanks Ron,I love this shot.
If this is looking towards town, with buildings on the left and what looks like park railings on the right, then it is most likely Bridgeman Terrace. The gentle slope also resembles the one from the park gates next to Rylands old entrance.
If you look on ALBUM. PLACES. PARK VIEW. there are a few more photos some showing the houses when they had gardens in front.
Is that some species of quadruped standing by the kerb to the right of the picture?, and if so, which kind?
It looks like a pig......perhaps it escaped from somewhere!!!!
I agree Vb, it certainly has a porcine appearance, I would be ' sprised ' if it turns out to be a canine.
Ahah!,,....It looks like it will need to be sprised from the pavement..that man in the distance is looking to pounce on it!
Second thoughts it is probably a sausage dog! Whatever , It is free to roam about ...there are no horse n carts on the road.......it must be Sunday.
