Postcard showing the Parish Church Bells in a view you won't see very often. Probably most Wiganers have never even seen the bells before. They were removed for restoration in the 1930's I have a newspaper cutting giving the exact date I'll see if I can dig it out.

Heaviest bell in the Wigan Parish Church peel is 29cwt. Good'un RON, as you say the biggest percentage of folk in Wigan, or indeed in any town or city, won't have seen their 'own' church bells. GARRY, i think you and me had better give this one a miss, lol.
