This is a photo of my late brother. He was a driver at Springs Branch. He started as a cleaner on the steam locos in 1956. He was known as ' Lonesome ' evidently. Maybe someone remembers him.

My brother worked at Springs Branch in the fifties. Unfortunately his memory has failed him so I can't ask if he knew your brother, but he probably did. My brother's name is Colin Griffiths and he lived in Higher Ince.

I worked with jimmy from 1978 as a guard at springs branch a true railway man and a great chap
