Just as I remember it! We used to catch the train to Wigan from here after 5 in winter after having served detention at John Rigby in the 60s. Happy days!

Just as I remember it as well. We came from Wirral every summer. Nan and Grandad had one of the old busses n the field over the canal bridge. We went all through the 60s up to the mid 70s. .Happy days indeed.
