I had one, two or more in there in the 50s, Blundells had the pub then, Jimmy, the landlords son, was a decent local footballer, i had a few skirmishes with him on the football pitch.

Looks better than The Charnley Arms which occupies this site now. And even better than Henry Africas which was here between them.
