Hi Bill, I think that he is. I'm nearly sure that my mum & dad said that they spoke to him at the back end of last year at a funeral or something like that. I'll ask them and let you know.

I remember my grandma sending me to Carney,s farm in the 50, s with a large milk jug for fresh milk and a bowl for fresh eggs you got yourself you could not do that today, happy days.

I also used to get the milk that way. As a child remember getting in the cows from the meadow for milking with Tom or Jack. Going round the hen coops collecting the eggs in a bucket, stacking sheaves of corn in the field next to the canal. Oh happy days
