What a interesting photo this is of another time. Not many true ironmongers shops left. We're very lucky where I live we have a great hardware shop, a family run business for many years. You can buy almost anything. You can buy screws, hooks etc separately...no packets. A great emporium !

I bet it was a place where you could always get your, dolly, dolly tub, scrubbing board, mangle, and wooden pegs, also your tin bath, meat safe, & blacklead.
