When you say behind the white shirt, do you mean the man who has been identified as Brian Roberts. I think a lot of people on this photo are from Wigan, it must be Wigan week as it was called.

The fourth lad from the right i think his name was PHILIP GRIFFIN

Been looking at this photo since it came on,because of the three guys behind Barry O'Brian the middle one with the broad smile I think is John Nolan.I also think the other two are Wigan lads but their names escape me.

Christine, the 4th from the right is the same as 5th from the left. Fred Aspey or phillip Griffin?

In reply to Keith I'm certain it is PHILIP GRIFFIN always went to the ISLE OF MAN with his mates .Had a few dates with him he came to my 21st birthday OCTOBER 1964 but died APRIL 1965 .Went to St PAT's School.

Christine,you may be right about phillip griffin,brian roberts went to st.pats,also played rugby for them so they could have been mates.

Brian Roberts went to All Saints school not St Pats, although he did turn out for St Pats open age team later on.

Keith the reason I put my comment about PHILIP ,was around 26th of July he just came into my mind so I was just reminiscing about him,then on August 3rd could not believe it when I saw this photo and thought to myself ,How uncanny that this occurred after all these years that have passed by.?

Hello accky, when i worked with Brian he was alway's talking about st. pat's i assumed he went to the school as well as playing for them.
