Shoemaker is on the right-hand side on the way to Scot Lane End. We walked over the fields to the other side and came out near Landlord's Farm on the Aspull side of Dicconson Lane. The round trip would take an hour or so up to the Fingerpost. On the photo is Judith, Andrew and dog Carlo.

A lovely picture Philip. I'd never heard of Shoemaker Fold.
Done that walk many many times, used to live in mill lane aspull near gerrard arms pub
