Another front cover from an old Rugby League magazine. When I stood in the Hen-Pen in the 50s and 60s they'd built a somewhat sturdier barrier to the right of the pavilion to prevent us [or try to prevent us!] from clambering to the freedom of the rest of the ground!

I remember standing in the "hen pen". It cost 3d for me and, like all kids at the time, I used to try to sneak into the other part of the ground to join my Dad.
