By the way you and your brother are "turned out" I'd say, without hesitation, you had loving, caring parents - a credit to all of you.
I lived at no 64 Legh St. just across the road from the Sunpat factory. The Legh Arms was a few yards down the road from our house. I think the pub changed its name to "Silks" but is now an office.
Hi Jim I remember my cousin lived near there on Sun Pat side not seen them for many years her name was Molly husband Derek, he died the other year.
They used to call those pram a TAN-SAD...didn't they? Any older viewers remember them.
Yes I remember them being called Tan Sad's, and it was a yellow one,( cool eh ).

I lived at 50 legh st born in 1966
i lived in legh st from 1959 to 1970s when we had to move as the houses were being knocked down and lived on the same side as sun pat think it was 42
