There are 13 photographs taken by Mr Hunt which have not as yet been scanned but I hope to do so shortly and upload to WW.4 photos taken in August 1951 are on the Whelley Line at Ince.4 taken in 1952 at Springs Branch and the remaining 5 taken in 1951 close to the iron bridge in Hindley

Quite a shock that Mr Brindle at half four this morn to see this handwriting. I have recovered a bit now and wakent up proper as well!
I can't tell you how chuffed I am to see this and I would really like to see the steam pics so put them on. I am sure that there are a lot of steam men around still who would like to see them as well.
I will be back in Wigan soon so perhaps we could find a pub and jaw it over a bit - do they still do pie eighting neets like they used to? I would love to know the tale that's aback of this letter and I'd like a copy of the scans too - if that's ok with you.

dk I have just managed to upload one of your grandfathers photos and will endeavour to upload the rest as soon as posslble.I've just run into a technical hitch.I live in Hindley so when you are around hopefully we can arrange a meet as you suggest

dk All the 13 of your grandfathers photographs have now been uploaded to WW and are contained in the Places,Railways section for you to take copies at your leisure
