I was there that night watching Bernard :) used to go every weekend.

It were a bit of a rum place! The owners also had the Loose Goose at Westhoughton and the Ram's Head at Tarleton. All 'fun' pubs. I remember the monkey railroad as well. There was a club across the road as well - The Mirage.

Does anyone remember earlier when this place used to be the Black Horse Italian Restaurant?

I remember the black horse very well my friend's parents had their ruby wedding there and my son worked at Henry Africa's many years later

they did loz, i think they had one in warrington,willdespool cant remember name of it.davina used to be dj,ner seen him in years.i had a cosmetics shop in greensway ashton,he sometimes came in.

Used to have a couple of beers at Henry's then on to Cassis night club across road at Cassinellas Hotel...anybody remember that !...

yea steve,going back to 70s dave blower and dave bolton(bullet)used to be on door there,i used go on sunday night when disco was on did,nt like it much,it was better when it was mirage,singles night on tues was good,they ruined it changed it into just a lounge, meddusa or sommert.

we saw stan boardman there what happened to peter the dj he used to stand in a caldron
