Freddie's gym was in his parents garden in lower ince. It was called "the shed" because that's what it really was. Me and my best mate Alan dutton used to pump iron in there 3 nights every week, freddie and his wife Betty got the conquering hero pub, smashing boozer, nice people, happy memories

Hi Stephen, yes, John and Graham are my 2 youngest brothers, there were 7 off us, George (in Australia) our only sister Janet, and my elder brothers Brian and Mark

Comment by: Stephen on 28th May 2013 at 19:51

Jimmy,I was in the same class as Graham throughout Ince Central and Rose Bridge and John was in the year above us. John was the sporting hero for just about all of us in our school days and I was a Leigh fan during Johns time there. Please pass on my best wishes to Graham and John(Stephen Price). Didn't realise at the time what a great place Ince was to grow up.

Comment by: jimmy taylor on 29th May 2013 at 12:37

Hi Stephen, consider it done, and yes, Ince was a great place to grow up

Comment by: irene roberts on 29th May 2013 at 12:46

I remember the Taylor family well. John shares my birthday but is a year younger than me and I remember Graham. I didn't know the older ones as well but remember them. I think they had a dog, Bonzo, unless I am thinking of another family, (the mind plays tricks after so many years!)

Comment by: irene roberts nee griffiths on 29th May 2013 at 12:51

Jimmy, would you add my good wishes on too, please?

Comment by: Jimmy taylor on 30th May 2013 at 19:27

Hi Irene,i am amazed you remember our old dog bongo.when he died my dad brought a puppy home from Irlam steelworks for my birthday.he was a great dog,a boxer lab. I called him rebel

Comment by: irene roberts on 30th May 2013 at 22:07

Hello Jimmy; I remember Rebel too. You leave those back streets of Ince but they never leave YOU! Don't forget to pass on my good wishes to Graham and John, who I remenber best, but love to ALL your family. Irene.
