Great view of the site of the Iron Works.
Usual views were taken formt the hill in the middle ground of the photo (the "Rabbit Rocks").
The now demolished cooling towers of Westwood Power Station can be seen in the distance over the "Rabbit Rocks".
A railway line from the right of the picture towards the lower part of the "Rabbit Rocks".
The Whelley Loop Line ran along the south side of the "Rabbit Rocks" on the other side of the hill from the photographer.
The line running from right to left crossed Belle Green Lane near to the Bush Hotel.
The railway line from the right of this photo went under a small bridge and then under the Whelley Loop Line.
It then ran along the raer of the terraced housed of Belle Green Lane on the same side of the road where West Street is today.
It crossed Belle Green Lane just north of West Street and I think to the south of Nelson Drive before going behind the rear of the Oak Tree Public House.
The palce it crossed Belle Green Lane was known as the "Crossing".
