i've posted this photo back in may 2010.
i've added colour to it to show more
detail to the parade back in the early
1900s.

Ann21, the Foresters was and still is, a friendly society, originally formed to provide sickness and death insurance at reasonable rates for ordinary working people.
They used to hold 'club days', on which the officials and members would hold a procession dressed in their regalia.
This was usually followed by a gala or field treat.

Could have been a Foresters 'Club Day'?
Many friendly societies held them.
A procession would usually be followed by a Gala or Field Treat.
