Love this Stuart along with the others you've posted. The lodge is beyond the wall which retains it's many original features like jackwells, sluice gate and of course the railway bridge. This area has seen many changes from W&L College annexing the building in 1986, this side of the photograph had a large carpark until the college built their own premises upon it. I know what I'd prefere to look at!

I once saw a massive 'something' in the mill lodge. It looked like a giant eel or a cousin of the Loch Ness Moster!
No one believed me, but I DID see it. It was sometime in 1960s. I was only about ten years old so I hadn't been drinking!
