Brings back happy memories of the Court School of Dancing in the mid 60s. The windows fronting Station Rd above the advertising board is where we used to sit in between dances when all the chairs opposite were taken. Who know I could have been up there when this photo was taken if it was '67/'68 in the summer. Isn't is strange to think that that could have been the case?

Yes, JohnAlan, and if someone had come up to you and said "You'll be able to see this on The Internet one day", you'd have felt like it was something out of Science Fiction!

Irene. if we knew how things would turn out I'm sure we all would have made different decisions in our past. Perhaps it's as well we don't. Who would have thought two or three years from then there would have been men landing on the Moon! There is more techology in our everyday electronic gadgets, mobile phones and pcs than the Apollo missions contained. E=MC2 is still the defining restriction to interplannetary/interstellar travel now. How dID we arrive here?
Sheila it is strange we didn't dance into one another back then. There were many folk attending at the time and I seem to remember it was always packed. Apart from ballroom dancing we leardned the jive, the twist, madison and locomotion among other modern dances of the time. As I said above there but for the grace of God go I!
