Arley Hall. School pony. George the school "poney" took the children to the old Haigh school from Arley Hall. He died 1823, aged 42.
How wonderful. I’ve only recently found out about George & located the grave at WGC. Have you any other history about life at Arley Hall in that era. Kind regards
