A few days ago a postcard of this scene appeared here. By sheer coincidence I found this painting today as I was clearing out for my removal from Ince. I've no recollection of when or where I acquired it. It is unsigned, so I've no idea who painted it. There's quite a bit of artistic licence used with the perspectives - the spire of St Thomas' looms large, but the postcard view shows that it was further away than it seems here.

Maybe St Catherines, and who is Father Lappin he used to be parish priest of St. Patricks and he died years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Strange.

St Josephs does not have a steeple, it has a bell tower with two bells open to view, but no steeple.
