A 12 page pamphlet produced for the Centenary Open Day: Sat 12th June 1977. The pamphlet gives a history and facts about the colliery,some photos of the huge changes in mining from hand - got to mechanised faces and comments on the then £3 million investment in driving roadways underground to link Bickershaw with Golborne and Parsonage to act as a complex production unit.
