I think this photograph may already be on the site somewhere? However here it is again. It was on the corner of Market Street and Woodcock St. and is in the same location as the 4 story buildings on the last photograph showing the old Fruit market

Thankyou Ron,I have seen this photograph before but have puzzled as to the location. I can now see clearly its situation. The site later accommodated Conroys ,Northants shoe shop E Gaskell fabrics ,further along Market St.,was The Mersey Furniture Store, it ceased to trade in the 1950s,I think that shop may then of become Johnsons dry cleaners I 'am not sure, it may have been located nextdoor to The Mersey.
