hi caroline, not sure but the building looks like my old school cardinal newman , that was in darby lane hindley no longer there what does anyone else think?

josie you could be right cardinal newman school wouldnt be that far away from the perimeter of the golf course just past the iron bridge and you can see the flats in wigan in the background also the building on the rightlooks like an old works in darby lane

That's what I thought but wasn't sure if the golf course stretched that far round. Definately looks like Cardie

The names of the golfers are correct and were members of Hindley Hall but John Entwistle tells me it was taken at Southport and I scale G.C.
