Good Grief, there are more people in this picture than can be seen there now !

I love this old photo, there's so much to see. Look at the young children on the left of the picture holding the baby. They were probably sent out from under their mother's feet whilst she got on with her many chores. I doubt if you'd see such young children in charge of a baby nowadays.

I just love old photos like this Harry.

I can't help but imagine that perhaps my grandmother or maybe a great uncle of even some of my great grandparents could be in that picture. They certainly were all going about their daily lives in Wigan and surrounds in that year. Thanks Harry.

Harry Im sure this is Heath St viewed from High St.It has changed very little over the years apart from the cobbled road and gas lamps. The shop on corner is now the Coop Chemist. Thanks for posting the old photos of Golborne Harry. Best Wishes Steve.
