Remember about twenty years ago approaching from one side it was the Red Lion and from the other direction it was the Dover Lock?

Nice to see these - I was pegged where you are standing, once, in mid winter and did nowt despite having a mess of bloodworm. Brings back good memories. Good memories are where you catch nowt. Fantastic memories are where, by some fluke, you hook summat. I'm happy enough with the good memories.

WHEN I FITST LIVED IN ABRAM IN THE MID-SEVENTIES, SOMEONE ASKED ME FOR DIRECTIONS TO THE RED LION.....I TOLD THEM THERE WAS NO RED LION PUB IN ABRAM, THEN REALISED IT WAS WHAT EVERYONE CALLED THE DOVER LOCK, AND HAD TO RUN AFTER THE PEOPLE AND EXPLAIN!
