A view taken off an old 110 colour slide that was shot in 1968 near to moss bridge looking north west across scotmans flash towards the poolstock lane area & the old high rise flats at worsley mesnes.
In the foreground is the towpath of the leigh branch of the leeds & liverpool canal

i remember a year when a drought caused scotsmamns flash water to recede, and for the first and only time i saw the farm and outbuildings that are under the water usually. not very decayed either but a bit worse for wear.
