2nd ROW Mrs Atherton, d/k, d/k, d/k, d/k, Mrs Tomlinson, Mrs Gray.
3rd ROW, d/k, Mrs Spencer, Mrs Parkes, d/k, Mrs Morton, d/k.
4th Row, Mrs Heaton, Alice Makinson, d/k, Mrs Morton's sister Beattie, Margaret Atherton, Mrs Prior, d/k,
FRONT ROW, d/k, Mrs Charlston.
The pic was lent to me by Alice Massa, whose mother, Mrs Heaton is on the pic. Mrs Atherton was the wife of Bill Atherton, the long serving verger and Margaret was their daughter. I think that the event was some kind of revue or play with a naval theme.
Hi Fred
What a wonderful photo of my Aunt Mary Heaton, my Godmother who gave me my middle name. She was an older sister of my Mother and was beautiful on the inside , as well as the outside.
Hi Fred,
Thanks for the photo which shows my Grandma, Mrs. Bertha Spencer, a picture I have never seen before. It also shows Mrs. Prior, a friend of my Grandma who I used to call Auntie Tillie. Thank you again so much.

Hi Tricia,
My Mum, Dad and I lived with my Gran in Billinge Road, just across and up from the hospital opposite the stone house where the Aspinalls lived. Mum Dad and I moved up to Conway Street off Enfield Street in the early 60's.
Hi Graham
