One of a series of Black and White photo's that I took,during the late 70's.Sadly I only have the prints ,not the negatives,so I have scanned them.
Good photos from the age of film. I stood on the footplate of one of these locos back in May 1972 during the Bickershaw pop festival, we were mud soaked and wet, and the driver and fireman let us get dry in front of the fire!
