I lived to the right at 18 Ellesmere Road when I first got married in 1964. Good old days.

Only just seen this picture, you can see the old (tin) St Cuthberts church in the background.

I can remember the old tin St Cuthbert's church, it was demolished in the 1960s, does anybody have a good picture of it?

hello fred i was born round corner at 460 ormskirk road 1947 december near the veg shop today! my mother used to tell me in the late 40s 50s there was a red phone box on left side just round corner a bit left of your photo, she also said she walked me round there very night cos i would'nt settle but growing up round there was great.
