Is that a puff of smoke coming out of Windy Arbour pit chimney or is some tea thats been spit on the photo

I used to travel regularly to wigan from the south,always wondered what it was!This was in the '70's.

Pretty sure this is earlier than 1980. It closed 1976, re-opened briefly on a very much smaller scale in 1977 then closed permanently not long after.
