Taken from the cover of the Parish Magazine of the early 60s. The view was taken from Warrington Road, and shows the South and West sides of the building. The tie-bars holding the walls in like a corset tell their own story of the poor condition of the structure.

Mining subsidence was it ?
Shame - a very dignified building and a sad loss.
