Where exactly on Senecar Lane is this-I can only think its at the bottom off Leyland Mill Lane???

Sennicar Lane is off Wingates road, Leyland Mill Brow, that's just off Wigan Lane. Some people say it's also in Haigh.

Looks like what used to be the old Lancashire Evening Post works behind the trees, on Leyland Mill Lane.

Correct Harry, it was the Evening Post& Chronicle printing works before they moved to Preston.

Off Leyland mill lane, the branch to the left is Wingates Rd, the continuation of that is Senecar Lane, which goes past Wigan old boys rugby club, then at the old Blueprinters/Lancs Evening Post works/Plazoo works, it turns right up to Haigh Hall. The road going straight on is Pendlebury lane, also going up to Haigh hall, ending at the old Haigh School

Happy times I use to live at Sicklefield House at the end of a long drive off Brock Mill Lane. Now that name Brock Mill does it originate from badgers "Brock) or the word "Brook" I just wonder...
