Dave Whelans stall was just to the left in this picture
This was when Wigan market hall had some character ! , too much cleanliness and Health and safety nonesense now , i would rather have old market hall any day !!!!

this picture is from mid to late eighties notice the missing canopy over the door that went just before demolition in 85/86
