Correct on both points Josie, they are my Mums Sisters Girls
They were from Worsley Mesnes, They were posh too, coz they had a bath upstairs and a petty with a handle not a chain and they had a gas poker too!!

what about the little one??!! she reminds me SO much of my 5 y.o. granddaughter. Obviously wide-eyed about the big kids "styling up" in their new overcoats!

Probably thinking "whats with them??!!" Its summer already!!

In 1960 their was only two channels on TV, BBC1 and ITV and colour sets wasn't invented.

This Telly were the very first one in Ince to have a remote control My dad operated it by shouting at me
"Oy! Turn it over"
